Quality Management

Our quality system follows ISO 9000 and HACCP guidelines. All our liquid, oily and aqueous colorants are FSSC 22000 certified by the organization Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited.

Our Quality Management System enables us to build quality into our products rather than inspect quality after products are developed. Our system ensures we manage and control all activities associated with product quality including purchase of raw materials and ingredients, production, packaging, storage, shipment, service to customers and after sales.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are not just regulations but rather a lifestyle in which the standard operation procedures enable us to produce high quality products. Our customers can be assured they will receive a dedicated service from all our team.

Our laboratory works according to International standards. With a well-developed technical team consisting of people with various backgrounds, the procurement of raw materials and production processes are well monitored and controlled.

Our products are Halal certified by The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).

Our annatto products are Kosher certified by the Organized Kashrus Laboratories.

Our natural colors are free from Genetically Modified Organisms and are based on the E.E.C. and 21 C.F.R specifications for carmine and annatto derivatives.

Color Model

The color model we use is an abstract mathematical model showing the way colors can be represented as tuples of numbers, usually as three or four values or color components. When this model is connected with a precise description of how the components are to be interpreted (e.g. viewing conditions, etc.), the resulting set of colors is called a color space. The color model is used to describe all the colors visible to the human eye. It is a three dimensional model, therefore it can only be shown in a three dimensional space.

The three parameters in the model signify:

The lightness of the color:
L*, L*=0 yields black and L*=100 indicates white

Its position between red and green:
a*, negative values indicate green while positive values indicate red

Its position between yellow and blue:
b*, negative values indicate blue and positive values indicate yellow
